Some years ago, when I started creating graphics with illustrator, I found a great tutorial about making “embroided type” with Illustrator and a little bit of Photoshop Magic, to make styles like on a college Shirt, for example.
The Tutorial was on thewebmachine.com, and I never saved it, thought everything on the internet is forever.
But today I learned: It’s not.
Fortunately there is archive.org :D
When I googled for an archived Version of the Tutorial, before I remembered there is archive.org, I saw that many other people search for exactly this Tutorial.

So I made a PDF and I hope that this will save someone’s ass, like it saved mine today ;D

I don’t know who created this tutorial, I just say thank you and hope that this will not be an infringement of copyright or something like that…
